Movies are free and are shown on the soccer field at Marie Reed School. Movies start approximately 30 minutes after sunset, and we'll have treats from Insomnia Cookies again this year so be sure to show up early.

What better way to end your day in Adams Morgan than with a good laugh? This year’s lineup is comedy focused and sure to put a smile on your face.

This year’s remaining lineup:

  • June 13: Raising Arizona
  • June 20: Bridesmaids – People’s Choice Movie
  • June 27: Shrek (Family Night: we'll have lots of fun activities for the kids -- including face painting and balloon animals)

Mayor Bowser Announces Public Safety Partnership with DoorDash

The partnership will build on the success of the Private Security Camera Incentive Program and includes a $500,000 investment by DoorDash to make dashcams available to eligible drivers free of charge. This partnership is intended to deter crime and assist law enforcement with investigations.

From Shawn Townsend, President & CEO, RAMW:

This morning DC Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a public safety partnership with DoorDash.

The restaurant industry is a crucial engine for the District’s economy, and delivery is one tool that helps local restaurants grow and thrive. We know that it’s critically important for restaurant, delivery, and ride share workers to feel safe on our streets, and this partnership helps us achieve just that.

We look forward to partnering with Mayor Bowser to showcase the role that we can all play in supporting the administration’s vision for a safer, stronger DC. We thank you Mayor Bowser for her continued leadership for our industry and the residents of the District of Columbia.

DC Freight Plan Update Public Input Survey

DDOT's New Freight Plan: A freight plan is a federally required document that defines short-and long-term vision and goals along with objectives and performance measures for the District freight system. Since the enactment of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) in 2021, states are required to update their freight plans every four (4) years.

The Freight Plan Update will develop recommendations and strategies to support the safe and efficient movement of goods and freight vehicles in the District. The recommendations from the plan will allow DDOT to make strategic investments to the District freight system. Please complete this survey to help DDOT understand your freight needs or problems you observe on a regular basis.
