Adams Morgan Movie Nights returns TUESDAY! with a collection of Pixar Shorts!

Adams Morgan Movie Nights will be back at the soccer field at Marie Reed School this year with a great lineup of films and some other fun stuff you won't want to miss.

Pixar Short Films will kick off our season on May 15 at the soccer field at Marie Reed school. The Marie Reed PTA will be on hand selling snacks to raise money and there will be free cookies from Insomnia Cookies for the first 250 guests .

Also, we're encouraging neighborhood restaurants to prepare to-go meals for you to take with you to the field. Already on board are Amsterdam Falafelshop and Ventnor Sports Cafe with more to come. We'll be sharing details of the specials on our social media channels as we get closer to showtime. If your business wants to participate, please skip down to the next item in this newsletter for more details.

Another brand new addition this year: Dog Valet. We're working with Life of Riley at 2222 18th St NW to allow your pooch a night out with some of his/her friends while you're enjoying the movie. To participate, each dog owner needs to complete a registration form and bring their dog to Life of Riley for a temperament test to ensure they are suitable for open play. They will also need a copy of each dog's vaccination records. Reservations are required -- space is limited to 10 small dogs and 10 big dogs. For information and to reserve a spot, call (202) 800-8808.

Watch our Facebook page for more details on all of the above,
and of course rainout information just in case.

This year's full movie schedule:

  • May 15: Pixar Shorts collection (Featuring a selection of Pixar’s short films ranging from some of their earliest, groundbreaking work to more contemporary shorts)
