Reminder: AMPBID Marketing Committee meeting December 17th at 2:30 pm


The Adams Morgan Partnership BID (AMPBID) Board of Directors' meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, December 10th but was canceled because of the weather. The next board meeting will be at 5 PM at Maga Design Studio on January 14th.

Techniques of Alcohol Management Training (TAM) December 18th at 1 pm

Wednesday, December 18th at 1 p.m. Jean Homza from the 930 Club will present her Techniques of Alcohol Management Training again. The class lasts for 3 hours.

The training will be at the 930 Club (9th and “V” Streets, NW).

Server Training is extremely important.   Remember, for an establishment to be in compliance with ABRA regulations, there must always be a licensed ABC-Manager on premise when the establishment is open to the public, and all ABC-Managers must have TAM training in order to obtain their license.

For employees of members of the DC Nightlife Association establishments, the fee is $35.

For employees of non-member DC Nightlife Association establishments, the fee is $55.

Interested people MUST call (800) 292-2896 in advance to register for these classes.

In order to receive the association discount, you must tell them which DC Nightlife Association affiliated establishment you are employed by.

Payment should be made in advance by credit card.  You may NOT pay by cash at the class, but you may pay with a check or money order made out to “TAM.”

MPD Third District Holiday Party - December 18th

Please join the MPD Third District and Commander Jacob Kishter for their annual holiday party on Wednesday, December 18th at the 3D Station at 1620 V Street, NW from 6 to 9 pm.

There will be food, games and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
