Colonial Parking Garage extends validation program to 6 PM!
Sorry for cluttering your inbox with another message but TERRIFIC news just came in today that is TOO HOT to wait to share until the end of the week!
Cheap, available, day-time parking in Adams Morgan, 7 days a week!
In March 2010, we announced a new partnership with Colonial Parking that brought reduced price, validated garage parking for day-time customers in Adams Morgan. TODAY we are pleased to announce that Colonial Parking is extending the hours of that program until 6 PM - 7 days a week - for April, May and June 2012! This should help with parking through the completion of the 18th Street Streetscape construction.

Beginning today, the FREE parking validation program hours will extend to 6 PM through June 2012.
Since March 2010 it has been cheaper and more convenient to park in the parking garage than parking on the street!
Everyone can park in the Colonial Parking garage (access is from 18th Street, NW on the east side just north of Belmont Road, NW
) for up to 4 hours for only $7.00.
With a FREE validation stamp from any business in Adams Morgan - no purchase necessary, you can park for up to 4 hours for only $7.00. You take the ticket from the garage, the business owner puts the sticker on the ticket and you return to the garage and pay only $7.00 for up to 4 hours! The parking meters charge $2/hour and you can only park for 2 hours until after 6:30!!! Parking in the garage is cheaper and easier!
This deal is available
until 6 PM
, every day of the week. You must be out of the garage by 6 PM when regular rates will apply. Also the validation is only good for UP to 4 hours, any fraction thereafter, whether before 6pm or not, will incur the maximum fee.
The previous discounted parking of 1-2 hours for $3.00 is also still available with validation, 7 days a week.
