Attendees can pick up a map of the porches and a FREE wristband, then stroll around the neighborhood for nonstop musical performances until 6 pm; the wristband is good for great deals at more than 20 local businesses.
Bands include Frankojazz, a family band featuring jazz, African rock and reggae; The Envoys, a crowd favorite for years; Near Northeast, a homegrown indie folk/pop group; the Foggy Bottom Whompstompers; and much more. The range of bands touches nearly every musical genre, including klezmer, classic rock, rap, reggae, folk, classical, and a cappella.
