Have You Spotted the New Safety Signage in Adams Morgan?

For those of you that have visited Adams Morgan recently or follow us on social media, you may have noticed our meme-like safety signage that has been installed throughout the neighborhood! With signs featuring Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg (RBG), tons of cute puppies, and famous people named Ryan, it has certainly created a buzz both locally and nationally!

Due to the large volume of requests, the Adams Morgan Partnership BID is excited to offer the public an opportunity to purchase our health and safety signs for personal use. The signs are exactly the same as the ones posted around Adams Morgan and are approximately 24 inches by 18 inches. The signs do NOT come with the metal stakes (those are available at many hardware and craft stores). We expect orders to be ready within 1-3 weeks -- we do not have an active inventory -- signs are printed after they are ordered. Signs are available for shipping or local pick up. Please note that funds received above and beyond the cost of printing and shipping will be used to produce additional safety signage for our neighborhood in support of local businesses.

New Painted Barriers Along 18th Street Add to the Vibrant Streetscape

Restaurants and retail shops along 18th Street in Adams Morgan have begun painting their parklet barriers further enhancing the streetscape and bringing additional charm to the neighborhood. We’d like to thank the talented artists for their hard work as well as the neighborhood businesses that have helped fund these artworks. New DC Dog Days Virtual Sidewalk Sale Event Takes Place on Saturday, August 8 & Sunday, August 9

Over the last twenty years, business owners throughout DC have braved the dog days of summer to create a sidewalk sale with more than 100 local retailers and restaurants. This year, District Bridges Main Street Group is partnering with DC Shop Small and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and Main Street Groups across the city to take the MidCity Dog Days Sidewalk Sale online and expand across the city. DC Dog Days will take place online on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. Businesses in Adams Morgan and across The District will be participating and offering special sales, gifts with purchase, discounts, and more. We encourage you to support our community and make a purchase from participating restaurants and retailers in Adams Morgan! And, we can’t host a DC Dog Days Sidewalk Sale without DOGS ! In honor of the sale, we’re hosting a Pups in the Parklets event all weekend long! Make a reservation at a restaurant in Adams Morgan and enjoy their outdoor parklet along 18th Street! Bring your pup, there will be plenty of water bowls and treats for your furry friend to keep cool and stay hydrated! Share your favorite pet photos in the parklets by tagging @admobid!




Multiple Outdoor Hand Sanitizer Stations Installed Around the Neighborhood!

  • SunTrust Plaza (on the west side of 18th Street side)
  • 1825 Columbia Road NW (in front of Yes! Organic Market)
  • 2341 18th Street NW (in front of Jumbo Slice)
