DC Water would like to turn off the water on Monday night December 12 in support of the ongoing Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project at Adams Mill Road, NW/Lanier Place, NW.

The work on December 12th will perform needed tie-ins of the newly installed water mains and will impact the 12-inch main serving businesses ONLY on Lanier Place, Columbia Road and Adams Mill Road. There are about 20-25 businesses affected. They anticipate the shut down to last for approximately 6 hours. Construction work will begin around 9:00 pm with the water shut-off to start around 12 midnight. The water will be back on around 6 AM and the work will concluded around 8 AM.

All affected will receive notification from DC Water also. Once the tie-ins are complete and has been deemed successful the water main will be recharged immediately.

McNastys' Ole Tyme saloon is owned by two long time Washingtonians. They are very excited to be part of the Adams Morgan area. They hope to become the "Cheers" of the neighborhood. It will be the kind of place where you can stop in and enjoy a beer and good food with two neighborhood stalwarts Paul Adams and Tony Fuller who will be the downstairs bartenders.
