Metro open house on proposed Metrobus Route 42, 43, L1 and L2 changes
Service Change Proposals: Metro is evaluating bus service along the 42 and 43 routes and the L1 and L2 routes. (
Click here for description of the proposed changes

The Service Evaluation Study is being conducted to identify improvements needed to meet current and future travel needs of Metrobus customers. The analysis will review service reliability, quality and productivity.
In November 2017, over 2,500 riders provided Metro with input about their service on Metrobus routes 42, 43, L1 and L2. Using this feedback, along with additional analysis examining bus service productivity and performance, the study team has developed the following initial service change proposals for public and stakeholder review and input.

WRAP's 2018 July 4th SoberRide Campaign
WRAP’s 2018 July 4th SoberRide campaign is scheduled to run from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4th (Independence Day) until 4:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5th, 2018.
WRAP’s SoberRide program is one of the nation’s most successful free safe rides programs for would-be impaired drivers. However, prevention is essential for keeping our highways safe during high-risk holidays. If your organization needs an alcohol awareness presentation, WRAP’s Safe And Vital Employees (SAVE) program is available free of cost to you. This 45-minute, customized presentation will inform employees and/or military personnel about the physical, economic and legal consequences of impaired driving.
We will be passing the cards and posters out to bars and retaurants in the week prior to the July 4 holiday. If you need extra cards or posters, contact
Brian Barrie
(202) 536-9515.
