1) AMPBID office is moving - August 1, 2014

The Adams Morgan Partnership BID will be moving our office to the Festival Center at 1640 Columbia Road, NW beginning on August 1, 2014. Our phone number and email address will remain the same. Please make note of this change. We will be sending out postcards to all BID members and friends of the BID in the coming weeks.


2) Madam 's Organ Fundraiser - TONIGHT - for Annual Beach Vacation for Adams Morgan Kids from June 23-26, 2014

Happy Hour Fundraiser at Madam's Organ at 2461 18th Street, NW for Kids Beach Vacation is TONIGHT from 6-9pm! Support kids in the Adams Morgan community. Donations are not tax deductible.

3) Christian Science Reading Room event on June 14th

Enrique Smeke, CSB, will speak on "Are you ready to take the first step?" at the Festival Center, 1640 Columbia Rd NW on June 14th at 2 pm in English and at 4 pm in Spanish.  How can we take that first step towards a more harmonious relationship with friends or relatives?  Free child care and parking are available.  Call 202-332-9010 or 703-370-0029 .  Mr. Smeke is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship and is sponsored by First Church of Christ Scientist.  All are welcome. 4) Adams Morgan Basketball Association hosts a "3 on 3" Tournament on June 28th

The Adams Morgan Basketball Association (AMBA) is hosting a "3 on 3" tournament on Saturday, June 28, at Walter Pierce Park . Players ages 16 and above will compete for the "3 on 3" neighborhood championship title and gift certificates from local businesses. The tournament will begin at noon, with check/warm-up starting at 11:00 a.m. Teams will be broken out into divisions and each team will be guaranteed to play at least two games during their designated time slots.
If you are interested in playing, please register your team (or individually) by submitting the names of each player, ages and email address to AMBA.Legends@gmail.com by June 20 . We will follow up with those who register with further details about the tournament.
