Lights of Adams Morgan Returns
This event is brought to you by the volunteer organizers of the Adams Morgan Day festival.
Check out decorated Adams Morgan storefronts, nonprofits and residences competing for the title of “Best Decorated” in December 2016.
December 1 marks the beginning of the Lights of Adams Morgan contest, the neighborhood’s 2nd annual friendly seasonal competition for the best decorated storefronts, nonprofits and homes during the month of December.
Winners will be determined by an esteemed panel of local judges composed of current and retired community leaders and local social media and other press that support and cover news of Adams Morgan. Winners will be announced shortly after votes are due December 11, so all are encouraged to begin decorating as soon as possible.
People who live, work, shop, dine and play in Adams Morgan will enjoy lively décor. Photos and promotions will post to Facebook and Twitter at

Some contestants go the extra mile by creating holiday menu items or offering holiday products, donating prizes for the best decorated resident winners, organizing holiday events or sales, or holding charity drives. Contest organizers encourage participants in Adams Morgan to send their information and photos to lightsofadamsmorgan@gmail.com for us to post, and to post to their own social media accounts and websites.
