Adams Morgan Movie Nights returns May 15 for our 5th season!

We'll be returning to the soccer field at Marie Reed School this year with a great lineup of films and some other fun stuff you won't want to miss.

We'll once again be partnering with the Marie Reed PTA to sell snacks and will also be working with Adams Morgan businesses to offer "Movie Meals" packaged to take with you to the show. In addition, we're working on a Doggy Valet program with Life of Riley to allow your pooch a night out with some of his/her friends while you're enjoying the movie. Watch our Facebook page for more details on all of the above, and of course rainout information just in case.

So without further ado, this year's schedule:

  • May 15: Pixar Shorts collection (Featuring a selection of Pixar’s short films ranging from some of their earliest, groundbreaking work to more contemporary shorts)
  • May 22: The Big Lebowski (1998)
  • May 29: Hairspray (2007)
  • June 5: Jackie (2016)
  • June 12: Hidden Figures (2016)

Adams Morgan Movie Nights are sponsored by the Adams Morgan Partnership BID , WETA and Mill Creek Residential , and supported by Insomnia Cookies , Life of Riley , the Marie Reed Elementary School PTA , and neighborhood volunteers.

Dinner at the Movies

We’re bringing hundreds of hungry customers to Adams Morgan Movie Nights every Tuesday night from May 15 through June 12.

Dozens of Adams Morgan restaurants are just steps away from the Marie Reed School where Adams Morgan Movie Nights take place. Provide take-out meals or discounts for hundreds of movie-goers to bring to the field with them.

Participating businesses will be included in on our website and in social media posts leading up to the movie each week.

Meals should be:

  • Easily portable
  • Come with napkins & disposable utensils if needed
  • Either quick to serve or able to be reserved in advance
  • Option to include a beverage

To sign up or for more information, contact Brian Barrie via email or at (202) 536-9515 by May 8.

Join the “Small Business: The Heart of DC” Rewards Program

We need your Adams Morgan businesses to sign up for this!

DC Small Business Week, April 30 – May 4, 2018, is a time for us to recognize, celebrate and support local small business because they are the heart of the District.

This year CNHED and the planning committee are marking the occasion with the launch of the “ Small Business: The Heart of DC ” Rewards Program as a way to show our appreciation. We want to demonstrate how much we value and treasure our local small businesses by incentivizing Washingtonians and visitors of the District to patronize small businesses throughout the DC Small Business Week.

Tell small businesses about the rewards program

  • As part of the program, interested local small businesses will offer a 10% discount to customers who present the Small Business: The Heart of DC rewards card or a digital-version of the card as they are making their purchase throughout the week.
  • Participating is a great way for businesses to connect with consumers shopping this week who value and want to support local small businesses like yours!
  • Enrolling and participating in the rewards program is easy and it only takes a few minutes. Small business can register online and we’ll follow up to make arrangements to drop off rewards poster and cards.

Please visit www.cnhed.org/dcsbw-rewards-program to enroll.
