Adams Morgan BID Small Business Saturday
"Hashtag for a Swag Bag" Promotion
The biggest shopping season of the year is rapidly approaching and we are going all out to drive business to our Adams Morgan shops and restaurants. We want customers right here in Adams Morgan and we want to reward them for coming here with a couple prize bags of goodies from Adams Morgan merchants.
The contest will entail shoppers in Adams Morgan taking a selfie of themselves in front of the ShopSmall mural in the alley off of 18th Street that leads to Colonial Garage. They would then post the picture online with the hashtag: #ShopSmallAdMo
From all the participating shoppers, we will have a random drawing and pick the winners to receive one of two Adams Morgan Swag Bags full of small items and gift cards from a variety of neighborhood businesses. We will be promoting the contest heavily online and promoting all of the participating businesses along with it by spotlighting the item(s) donated by that business that will be part of the prize.
We need as many businesses as possible to participate for this to be a successful promotion. Some ideas of swag bag items might be small gift items, gift cards, buy one get one coupons, etc.
For more infomation and/or to participate, please contact AMPBID Operations Manager Brian Barrie via email or at 202-536-9515 no later than Tuesday.
