Adams Morgan Spring PorchFest: Saturday, May 4!
|
Adams Morgan Spring PorchFest returns on Saturday, May 4 from 2-6pm! Featuring approximately 80 bands, this event will showcase some of DC’s best local musical talent featuring nearly every musical genre, including classic rock, funk, go-go, rap, reggae, blue grass, classical, and pop. Twenty porches, business patios, parks, and the closed 18th Street will become stages for the day, drawing music-lovers from around the region into the tree-lined streets and small businesses of Adams Morgan. 18th Street NW (between Columbia and Kalorama Roads NW) will be closed to vehicular traffic creating additional safe space for performances.
Event patrons can pick up a music map and FREE wristband at three different event headquarter locations. The first location is in the plaza in front of Truist Bank at the corner of Columbia and Adams Mill Roads NW. The second location is in front of 2424 18th Street NW inside the road closure. The third location is in the Marie Reed Elementary School Plaza in front of the Recreation Center located at 2200 Champlain St NW. Event wristbands provide attendees with dozens of discounts at various Adams Morgan businesses. After picking up a wristband and event map, guests can stroll through the neighborhood for nonstop musical performances from 2-6pm, enjoy lunch, dinner, or drinks at a neighborhood hangout, and shop for unique gifts at local boutiques. Limited edition Spring PorchFest t-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 each on a first come first serve basis at

DC Arts Center
, local artists, and neighborhood businesses! Walk the streets of Adams Morgan and admire an impressive selection of local artwork displayed in storefronts through April 30. Thanks to overwhelming support from the community since the event’s initial launch in 2020, the Art Walk continues to gain momentum – which enables us to bring you the biggest event yet with 19 participating businesses and 23 local artists.
Each Saturday throughout the event, The DC Arts Center will be offering
FREE guided walking tours
of the AdMo Art Walk making brief stops at each location to discuss the artwork, artist, and local businesses. Space is limited so please

BOARD MEETINGS
The Board of Directors of the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District meets on the second Tuesday of every month (except August, October, and December).
Meetings are currently being held online as well as in-person (hybrid) and begin at 5pm.
