The 2021 Adams Morgan Partnership BID (AMPBID) Board of Directors election concluded yesterday at 5pm with 21% of the BID membership voting -- which we believe is the highest turnout for our elections since the BID was founded! Despite the previously communicated issues with the paper ballots, we had great participation from our membership and are grateful for the active interest. It's been a tough year, but Adams Morgan businesses have shown amazing resiliency and creativity, and have managed to weather the storm better than many other business districts in the city.

THE RESULTS

The two business owners whose seats were up this year, Saied Azali (Mintwood Place and Perry's) and Jonathan Cho (BUL and Sakuramen) were reelected.

Also reelected were property owners Brian Friedman and Jeffrey Schonberger.

Additionally, we have three brand new board members to welcome: Jim Ball, Wendy Hauenstein, and Cindy Sanchez.
