1) Important AMPBID Board meeting on Thursday April 14th at 5 PM
The next AMPBID Board meeting is Thursday April 14th at 5 PM in the second floor conference room at College Summit, 1763 Columbia Road, NW (enter building, go down 4-5 stairs, take the elevator to the second floor, turn right, take the next left and the conference room is on your right.)
On the agenda will be a discussion about the (hopefully) temporary elimination of the RDO subsidy, an update on the 18th Street Streetscape project, including a report on the DC Water work that's part of the construction, a report from the marketing committee, an update on the Unity Park vendors, and a resolution against cutting late night service on the Circulator Bus.
Also on the agenda will be a review of the revised AMPBID Business Plan for 2011-2016. The revised Business Plan will be emailed to all voting AMPBID board members for their review prior to the meeting. Once approved by the board, it will be available for review by an any AMPBID member. More information about where the Business Plan will be available for viewing will be sent next week. The Business Plan is a requirement for the reauthorization of the AMPBID.
Board members: Please call or email Kristen at 202-997-0783 or kbarden@adamsmorganonline.org if you are unable to attend otherwise we will assume you are attending.
2) Graffiti - Please file police reports immediately
We have seen a dramatic increase in graffiti since the weather started to get warmer.
We take photos of all the graffiti and forward those to MPD for their investigation. Our Clean Team does a great job getting the graffiti removed quickly. However we need your help in: 1) identifying who is doing this and 2) reporting the incidence to MPD by filing a police report.
Also it is really important if your business is tagged with graffiti to file a police report. This will help create a case against the perpetrators. Graffiti is a destruction of property crime.
3)
