Reminder About Vibrant Streets Learning Lab - April 29-30

A few weeks ago we had Heather Arnold from StreetSense in Bethesda come talk to us about retail recovery after a streetscape construction project concludes.  Vibrant Streets™, a Streetsense initiative, is launching its inaugural Learning Lab Conference April 29-30th on Bethesda Row. This will be a practical, real world, how-to-do-it-better event featuring walking tours, receptions, and presentations on Bethesda's very own (and world-renowned) Bethesda Row – a model for a modern and vibrant retail street.

If a few Adams Morgan business owners are interested in attending, the AMPBID will pay your way.  Check out the conference specifics here: www.vibrantstreets.com/learninglab .

This is a unique opportunity that many communities can benefit from, and we want to make sure that Adams Morgan businesses can take advantage of this. Please let Kristen know by February 28th if you would like to go: kbarden@adamsmorganonline.org the price increases on March 1.

BID tax bills will be sent to property owners next week

Just a quick reminder that BID tax bills for FY2013 second half will be mailed to property owners next week. The payments are due by April 1. Should you not received your bill from the Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) by March 1, please let Kristen know at kbarden@adamsmorganonline.org and she can print a copy for you.  Thanks.
