Adams Morgan Partnership BID Announces New Holiday-Inspired Public Art & Festive Community Events

The Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District (AMPBID) is bringing public art to Adams Morgan this holiday season along with a fun, festive events lineup. This December, visitors can experience a month-long, interactive light display located in the plaza in front of Truist Bank at Columbia and Adams Mill Roads, NW. The display was designed and built by Davide Prete and Epigram – two local artists that worked together with the Adams Morgan Partnership BID to bring the holidays to life while celebrating the people that make Adams Morgan such a wonderful place to live, work, dine, shop, and visit. The illuminated display is ideal for selfies or holiday card photos, please share your festive holiday photos with by tagging @admobid and #HolidaysInAdMo!

While visiting the art installation, visitors can enjoy a variety of fun holiday activities and festive decorations throughout Adams Morgan, plenty of shops for all of your gift-giving needs, and an array of restaurants for every palate and pocketbook – all while supporting over 240 small businesses in the neighborhood.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5 FROM 6-7:30PM

Celebrate the holiday season in Adams Morgan! On Tuesday, December 5 from 6-7:30pm, the community is invited to join in on the festivities as we unveil our neighborhood’s newest interactive holiday display underneath a snow-filled sky. It's the perfect place to take selfies or pose for a holiday card! Attendees can also listen to live music by local cover band, Gotcha Covered. Complimentary hot chocolate and cider will also be available on a first come, first serve basis. Family Friendly. Free. Open to the public.



MERRY GRINCHMAS: PHOTOS WITH THE GRINCH

We’re so excited to share that The Grinch will be leaving Whoville and visiting us in Adams Morgan! Come meet The Grinch get your holiday photo taken. People (and pets!) are welcome. Guests can also enjoy face painting by Cindy Lou Who while listening to classic holiday music by Dickens carolers! Family Friendly. Free. Open to the public.
