Apple Festival Postponed Until NEXT WEEK

Due to rainy weather on Saturday, our fabulous fall Apple Festival will be postponed until Saturday, Nov. 3 , 10:30 am to 1 pm at the Adams Morgan Farmers Market at 18th Street and Columbia Road NW. The Adams Morgan Apple Festival includes our popular apple pie baking contest and heirloom apple tasting from Licking Creek Bend Farm. Purchase some pie to support Higher Achievement and the education of middle schoolers around the region. Details here .

Heirloom Apples at the Farmers Market

Although the APPLE PIE CONTEST is being postponed we're going ahead with our special APPLE CIDER and HEIRLOOM APPLE TASTING.

We'll have our special APPLE CIDER, fresh pressed for this Saturday from our delicious MAGNESS PEARS with HEIRLOOM APPLES. $6.00/ half gallon.

McDonald’s Grand Reopening Today

Celebrate the newly refurbished McDonald’s with a grand reopening with a DJ, magician, free ice cream cones for kids, and raffles. The event is today, October 25, 2-6 pm at 2481-83 18th Street NW.

Le Bustiere Celebrates Five Years Nov. 8

Celebrate the 5th anniversary of local luxury lingerie boutique Le Bustiere with an evening full of prizes and surprises. Expect boudoir photo shoots, a raffle giveaway, standup comedy and more. Thursday, Nov. 8, 6-8:30 pm at 1744 Columbia Road NW, #2. FREE tickets here .

Meet Jorge Quesada, Our New Safety Ambassador

Jorge is the newest employee of the Adams Morgan Partnership, serving as our Safety Ambassador out on the streets of the neighborhood. In addition to helping visitors and keeping an eye out for problems, Jorge acts as our eyes and ears throughout the neighborhood, regularly checking in with businesses and helping to resolve any issues that might come up. He is out in the neighborhood Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8pm and you can reach him by email at jquesada@adamsmorganonline.org .

Deadline Extended: Get Us Your Swag for DC's Concierges

DC's hotel concierges are meeting in Adams Morgan and we plan to give them a bag full of swag, giveaways, coupons and specials from Adams Morgan businesses, so get yours to us today! These hotel concierges have access to and influence with thousands of DC's tourists and visitors. AdMo Restaurants Featured in the Post’s Fall Dining Guide

Four restaurants were featured in the Washington Post’s anticipated Fall Dining Guide last week. Johnny’s Half Shell , Spoken English , Tail Up Goat and Zenebech represent the fine dining and variety of cuisine you can experience in Adams Morgan. Did you know? The neighborhood has seven restaurants listed in the Michelin Guide, one with a star (Tail Up Goat), and Lapis listed in the Bib Gourmand guide. Come and taste your way through Adams Morgan!

Coffee with a Cop Nov. 1

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) will be holding a Coffee With A Cop event at Tryst on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 5 - 6pm. Property and business owners are encouraged to attend and meet with Captain David Augustine and other officers who focus on our neighborhood. If you are unable to attend, but would like to meet the officers that patrol Adams Morgan, please contact us and we will help set that up.

Showcase Your Restaurant at Rock Creek Conservancy Gala

Join Rock Creek Conservancy for their annual Rock Creek Gala at the Embassy of New Zealand on December 8, 2018. Guests will enjoy a tasting menu from local restaurants and distilleries, live music, and a fun silent auction. All of the gala's food is provided by local restaurants, who have the chance to showcase their talents and offerings to 300+ local supporters. Support Your Bus Line: Take Metro’s Survey

Metro is encouraging customers to participate in the 2018 Bus Passenger Survey to determine funding allocations, support planning efforts, and collect data. Over the next several months, surveys will be distributed aboard buses by trained research contractors. Please complete the survey each time you receive one. Customers can remain anonymous or provide their information for a chance to win a $100 SmarTrip card.
