Also joining us will be the new Ward 1 representative to the Mayor's Office - Ben Case and Scott Sanders from Joseph's House to tell us about the new healing garden they are building.

As many of you know, DDOT and Clear Channel Communications provide free space on bus shelters throughout Adams Morgan to the AMPBID. It's an excellent opportunity to promote our local businesses since visibility is high and cost (production and printing) is low. This spring we will be rotating in a new set of bus shelter posters which will feature you, the business owners.
This concept ties in well with our local-focused message as Adams Morgan being a place where patrons often get to know the owners and managers of the businesses they support and how that relationship contributes to the unique sense of community we value here. It will help potential customers discover our businesses and put faces to (business) names.
On a first come, first serve basis
, we will photograph up to 21 (the number of bus shelter spaces available) business owners/managers at their place of business for use in the campaign. Participants will be asked to answer three questions about their businesses for use in the ad copy. This will be an ongoing campaign so businesses that do not make it in the first round may have the opportunity to be in future bus shelter installations.
If you would like to be featured, please contact Kristen at
kbarden@adamsmorganonline.org
or email Nathan Ackerman at
Nathan@18thStreetMedia.com
. Thanks.
REMEMBER this is first come, first serve! ACT NOW if you want to be on a bus shelter poster! Deadline is Friday Feburary 13th to let us know.
