Green Building In DC : Fundamentals
The training will focus on applicability and how to move your project through from design to occupancy for the Green Building Act, Green Construction Code and Energy Conservation Code. There is no registration required, please join us on one of the following dates at DCRA’s office at 1100 4th St SW, Washington DC 20024

Green Review Meetings
We also wanted to reiterate the opportunity for projects to use our green review meetings. If you are struggling with the application of the green or energy codes to your project design, sign up for a free, one hour, one-on-one opportunity to discuss specific design compliance questions, including the components of your plans; how to use compliance tools; full consideration of standards and specifications; and the inspection requirements after permit.

Training: Using the Stormwater Database
This training focuses on using the Stormwater Database in the submission process for DDOE review of Stormwater Management Plans (SWMPs), Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Plans, and Green Area Ratio (GAR) Plans, and for participation in the SRC and RiverSmart Rewards programs. The training includes an overview of database functions and exercises to enter mock plans and applications.

Compliance with the District’s 2013 stormwater regulations involves steps and considerations that may be unfamiliar for design engineers accustomed to the District’s old regulations.
If you are struggling with the design of a stormwater management plan, sign up for a free, one hour, one-on-one opportunity to discuss specific site design compliance questions, including the components of a site plan; how to use and interpret the compliance calculator tools; full consideration of standards and specifications; and maintenance responsibilities.
Participants must have completed the General Compliance training. These tutor sessions will not provide determinations, or approvals of products or site designs.
