While the roundtable is designed specifically to inform and educate employers about the new Wage Theft Prevention Amendment Act and its expectations, we will also share information about the District’s minimum wage increase that will take effect on July 1, 2015; the District’s living wage; and our public education campaign efforts to inform the public about all District of Columbia wage laws in order to promote and achieve compliance with labor standards that will protect and enhance the welfare of the District’s workforce.
Our goal is to provide clarification of these laws and answer any questions you may have.
