New Bus Network launches Sunday!

Mark your calendar! On
Sunday, June 29
, Metro is launching their new bus network, designed to better serve you and the entire region.
The new bus network is a system shaped by a two-year process that included extensive data analysis about where and when people travel today coupled with 23 weeks of community engagement. This network is a result of tens of thousands of customers, residents, and stakeholders who shared their feedback online and at in-person events to help design a faster, more frequent, and more reliable bus network!
As Metro prepares for the launch, major efforts are underway, including updated bus stop signs and network maps, operator training, and system upgrades to ensure riders have the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Mushroom, Onion & Mozzarella Focaccia; Rainbow Babka (last call!); and Asiago Cheese Bread (last call!)

The bi-monthly Rejuvenation spaces are supportive gatherings designed to help process the complex emotions bubbling up during these hard times. Gatherings begin with a guided conversation, providing a protected, open space for reflection and dialogue. Afterward, participants can choose from various healing stations to engage in creative self-care and collective healing. Whether you’re seeking connection, expression, or comfort, this event offers a communal space for processing, release, and renewal.

they will celebrate Pride month by creating a welcoming and affirming rejuvenation space that centers conversation and a powerful art mask-making activity to explore identity and celebrate PRIDE. Together, everyone will reflect on how we see ourselves, how the world sees us, and what it means to live with authenticity and pride. This event is open to everyone, LGBTQIA+ and straight. Whether you’re here to reflect on your own journey or to stand in solidarity, this is a space for connection, creativity, and community. No artistic experience needed—just come as you are. DC’s Department of Energy and the Environment (DOEE) is seeking to better understand how residents currently feel about switching from gas appliances and systems to electric appliances and systems - also referred to as “electrification” or “electrifying their homes.” This survey will be used to better tailor DC programs and resources to support residents when transitioning from gas to electric.
